Our Story

While working as a Camp Setup Specialist with Backroads,  an outdoor tour company, during the height of the COVID pandemic, I had the realization that creating delicious meals for others in the woods could allow people to enjoy the outdoors even more without feeling like they were “roughing it”.

With the outdoors becoming one of the only safe and comfortable places to take time off and recreate, the number of individuals heading into the woods has skyrocketed. Outdoor excursions are being seen in a new light by thousands of individuals each year.

At AlpenGlow Adventure Catering we work with professional chefs and local farmers to create delicious menus for you and your family to experience in the outdoors.  Additionally, working with professional chefs has encouraged us to keep pushing the boundaries of the kinds of meals that can be created in the woods. We utilize over-fire and over-coal cooking for most of our meats and vegetables. This allows our guests to indulge in a lavish, outdoor dining experience. With five menus from which to choose, there are options for everyone!

Our concept of “Adventure Catering” is new. Along with providing lavish dinners for adventurers heading into the woods, we believe it is our mission to help feed others in the community. All food items that are not utilized during a meal are repurposed into Hope Care Boxes and are donated to charities, food banks, or local community members in need.
